Sussex Teachers are working with a primary school in Bexhill to find a permanent KS2 teacher for September 2018.

Our client is a popular two form entry primary school situated in Bexhill-on-sea. They are part of a rapidly expanding academy chain that have transformed 6 separate schools in the Sussex area. Children at the school are encouraged to have high aspirations, be inquisitive, and respect each other and their school community. Pupils take pride in their work and learn from topics that excite and motivate them. The school have recently retained their 'Good' OFSTED rating and are working hard towards becoming outstanding. The report praises its determined leadership, inclusive ethos and distinctive curriculum framework.

We are seeking to find an inspiring full-time class teacher to join their expanding and friendly team. The successful candidate will work closely with their staff team at the school and the other academies to ensure high quality learning for all children. We are looking for a highly motivated teacher with an ability to demonstrate excellent KS2 classroom practice. You will be a creative and self-motivated team player who is committed to raising standards and ensuring children achieve their best. It is important that you possess excellent communication skills and have a track record of forging great relationships with pupils, parents/carers and fellow staff members.

This is a class teaching role meaning you will have responsibility for the learning and achievement of all the children in your class. The role will involve full planning, preparation and assessment and you will be expected to take part in all areas of school life including staff meetings, parent’s evenings and school trips. You will work proactively with your parallel class teacher from the school’s innovative curriculum to teach lessons that are inclusive and accurately differentiated.

This is a permanent teaching role for September 2018. If successful you will be working within a friendly and supportive team, teaching children who are enthusiastic about learning.
