Are you looking for 3 days a week PPA cover teaching work paying up to £130 per day?

A small primary school in central Brighton are eager to find an experienced teacher to cover PPA  3 days a week, starting ASAP. This inner-city school primary school are looking for an experienced, part-time teacher to join their happy and friendly team until the July. 

You will be joining a school ‘with a big heart’, with a community feel that embodies the diverse culture of Brighton city centre. You will be working with leaders who value freedom of expression (children don’t wear school uniforms) and relationships are built on mutual respect (first names are used for all students, staff, and parents). Due to its town-centre location, the school is easily accessed by public transport, situated a 10-minute walk from Brighton train station or a 3-minute walk from Churchill Square bus stops.

You will provide PPA non-contact time to form/class teachers. This 20-hour-a-week, part-time position (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) does not require the attendance of staff meetings or parents’ evenings and will include previously planned lessons for you to teach. This is a diverse and rewarding role, allowing you to teach pupils across a wide range of key stages, ages and abilities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher status with completion of your induction year(s).
  • Recent classroom teaching experience within KS1 and  KS2.
